The Cognitive Aging and Memory Lab at is actively seeking volunteers to participate in a variety of studies on how memory changes over the lifespan.

Current Study

We are currently recruiting people for two sets of studies.

Younger Adults

One study focuses on people aged between 18 and 30 and examines memory for auditory and visual items. You should have normal or corrected-to-normal hearing and vision, and you should be a native speaker of English. If you are interested or would like more information, please fill out the form below. We will compensate you $9.00 for an hour of your time.

Older Adults

A second study focuses on people aged 60 and over. This study examines the relation between perceptual ability (how well you can see and hear) and cognitive ability (how well you perform other tasks, such as remembering). You should have normal or corrected-to-normal hearing and vision, and you should be a native speaker of English. If you are interested or would like more information, please fill out the form below. We will compensate you $9.00 for an hour of your time.

All research has been approved by the Interdisciplinary Committee on Ethics in Human Research at Memorial University.
